Yogurt & Granola Delight

This tasty treat will put a smile on your face and start your day off right and it is so delightful, you will even want it for dessert. Yep, that’s right… dessert!


  • 8 ounces vanilla yogurt or any flavor to your liking
  • 1 cup granola cereal
  • Mixed fruit to your liking (optional)


Place 1/3 cup of granola in a parfait glass. Top with half of the yogurt.

Repeat layers.

Top with remaining granola.

P.S. – Mix any of your favorite fruits into the yogurt before assembling or layer fruit in between yogurt and granola layers if so desired.

Simple & Sweet

This simple and sweet recipe will take no time at all and will awaken your taste buds! Cupcakes make the perfect treat for yourself and they are so freakin’ cute and tasty, they can make great gifts for friends and family too.

Recipe for Vanilla Cupcakes


  • 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 1/3 cups sugar
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 large eggs


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line cupcake pans with cute paper liners.

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large mixing bowl. Add shortening, milk and vanilla. Beat for 1 minute on medium speed. Scrape side of bowl with a spatula.

Add eggs to the mixture. Beat for 1 minute on medium speed. Scrape bowl again. Beat on high speed for 1 minute and 30 seconds until well mixed.

Spoon cupcake batter into paper liners until 1/2 to 2/3 full.

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Allow cupcakes to cool completely before decorating.

Recipe for Butter Cream Frosting


  • 5 oz butter – softened
  • 8 oz confectioners sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons hot water


Beat together the butter and sugar with an electric beater.

Once well combined, add the vanilla and water. Beat until smooth and creamy.
